Warranty & Service Support

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007

 

1.     Requests received by 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) for replacement (exchange) of non-working leased or "loan for" purchased dispensers will be shipped that same day by customer-specified UPS service. Shipping charges are billable.

2.     Prepaid Annual Lease includes repair or replacement service at no extra charge, except for shipping costs, when failure results from normal and intended operation.  Repair cost of damage caused by vandalism, accidents or unauthorized repairs is billable to lessee.

3.     Purchase Warranty is one-year parts and labor coverage for repair of failures resulting from normal/intended operation only.  Unauthorized design, or other functional product alteration can void repair warranty coverage.   Such alteration can also effect availability of “loan” machine.  Vandalism, accidents and other non-operational causes of repair are billable.  Thirty days after first delivery, shipping charges for repaired and loaned units are billable.
Note: Loan units are available at no charge for units being repaired.

4.     Extended Warranty coverage at published rates plus shipping charges, is offered for (1) units sold after August 1987 with warranty coverage continuing upon expiration of the original and subsequent extended warranty periods.  Original warranty terms apply to extended periods.

5.     Out-of-Warranty service for purchased units is offered at $55.00 per hour technician labor, plus parts and shipping charges.  All replacement parts are warranted for ninety (90) days.  Repairable units will be returned within five (5) days after receipt at Valometer’s Los Angeles facility.
Note:  “Loan” units are available at $15 service fee (plus tax) and shipping charges for purchased units being repaired.

 

 

Lease Conversion To Purchase Plan

 

Lease payments, net of any taxes, will be eligible for purchase conversion credit.  The effective date of conversion will be the month following customer request to determine the unit conversion to purchase price.  The conversion to purchase price will be (1) the current list purchase price less (2) eligible lease payment credit allowances defined in the following table:
